Customer Profile
Comprising 53 institutions, the private university is present in India, UAE, Nepal & Malaysia. The university has in its fold several colleges offering a broad spectrum of courses such as engineering, medicine & hotel management. Under the aegis of the university, the global education Group has been imparting education to students from over 50 countries, for over 5 decades.
Business Case
- The Group wanted high-quality E-learning courseware for undergraduate medical students pursuing MBBS at the universities & distance education programs.
- Courseware had to be designed to act as supplementary material to classroom teaching & serve as reference material for undergraduate students, undergraduate professors, practicing professionals & postgraduate students.
- The course had to be developed for an audience learning medical subjects where visuals would play an important role in comprehension of the subject matter.
Solution
- Aptech, through the assimilation of latest & thoroughly updated software packages, languages & techniques created the WBT for this application.
- The WBT presented live & updated content in a structure that allowed for self-directed & self-paced instruction on various topics.
- The content ensured maximum opportunity for supporting theory with visuals/ animations which were instructionally sound. Graphics styles varied to suit the subject & also to add variety to the course.
- The instructional design strategy was to create a learning program rather than just a course. Therefore, the structuring of the content was multilayered in terms of Awareness, Comprehension, Analysis & Application.
- To ensure high user interactivity, crosswords, word search puzzles & memory games were incorporated in the courseware. The WBT had a number of illustrations, 2-dimensional & 3-dimensional animations to enhance learning and retention.
