A large multinational bank offering a wide range of financial services to corporate & retail customers. The bank operates through a variety of delivery channels & has a network of 1,000 branches serving customers in over 12 countries.

• The bank needed to provide accurate, up-to-date information to customers, regulatory authorities & management.
• Experienced employees would have to take time off from their responsibilities to familiarize new employees with the data entry procedures.
• This method was not foolproof since the makeshift trainers’ knowledge, enthusiasm & time varied widely - as did the post-training proficiency of newly-familiarized employees.
• To improve data quality & consistency, the bank sought more effective ways to train new employees on data entry for a complex software system.

• To help learners gain familiarity with the application, Aptech created a simulated version of the actual software. Real-life scenarios coached learners through the intricacies of how, when & where to enter data.
• The scenarios designed were highly interactive to draw & engage learners in the process.
• Many features were designed specifically to increase retention. For example, each scenario included feedback on the learner’s performance.
• Throughout the project, Aptech managers monitored progress against milestones & benchmarks.
