Eligibility criteria for the PMP Exam

To qualify to appear for the PMP Examination, project managers should meet the following requirements:


  • 35 hours of Project Management training (35 PDUs) by a PMI-authorized Registered Education Provider (REP) such as Aptech*
  • 3 years of Management experience, along with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • OR

  • 5 years of Management experience without Bachelor’s degree

*Through Aptech’s PMP Training, project managers are provided 35 PDUs (Professional Development Units), i.e., the 35 hours of PMI-accepted Project Management Training.
